All Classic

Be it 2007 or 2017, some things never go out of style. From footwear to cover-all, from dresses to accessories, some things are always termed CLASSIC.

One good thing about buying a classic: you will never look out of place or out of style and you can always spend more, for they are to stay!

The Little Black Dress is one of the most essential items in your wardrobe. Got a party and don’t know what to wear? Throw in an LBD and a pair of fun or classic pumps with a good satchel or clutch and you are good to go! Every woman should have a little black dress – they can be worn to work, dressed up for a date, and dressed down for casual wear. Go for knee-length or shorter, which can be worn with a pair of party heels for a party, or with a cardigan and flats for work.

pumpsFlats, sneakers all have their place, but what a pair of pumps can do, well only a pair of pumps can do! Dressing up everything from jeans on a date night to appropriate office-wear, well-made black pumps extend your wardrobe and they last forever. Go for matte leather, which transitions through seasons better than patent or suede.

There’s a reason trench coats have been in style since the late 1800s. Functional, flattering, and super-classic, it’s a jacket that looks great on virtually every body type, thanks to its waist-defining properties. A jacket on the other hand gives you an edge. While the trench coat can be all-neutrals, your jacket can be all blacks and colours! A trench coat will look best for a walk during spring or a day at work and a jacket will look beautiful when you sport it at a party, a car – driving day or a day from the winter diary.

You cannot always wear heels or slippers or sneakers. Sometimes, you need to have the classic “chic” or “cowboy” look. Sport a pair of dark blue jeans or a shorts or a skirt and complete the look then and there. The classic knee-length, no-heel boots originated with the equestrian crowd, can see you through season after season. They look amazing with dresses, skirts, and pants, and because they lack a heel, they’re actually very sensible.

Tees are so comfortable that not only can you wear them alone, but also look fabulous if you wear them with a leather jacket or a pair of dark blue denims! A white T can do no wrong. Wear yours with a scarf and sunglasses while perusing the market, or dress it up with a statement necklace and blazer for work. Sport a carefree look or a tom boyish look or a “badass” look by wearing your hair in a messy bun, one of the above tees, a long cardigan and shorts and pair them with boots!

dark blue jeansOur life would be so sorted if we could own every piece of clothing we desire and also. We can look our best self. Well, these things definitely will make you feel comfortable and make you feel like a million bucks!  Jeans are a staple for just about any woman’s wardrobe, and the bulk of your denim budget should be invested in a dark wash. You can wear dark jeans with flats to a lunch with friends, or add a sparkly top and heels for a holiday getaway.

Sport these classics on your special days and save them for another day!

They save you time; they look beautiful; they make you feel comfortable; THEY ARE CLASSICS!
