We all love monsoon a lot. But this is the season which brings many skin related problems with it. Our hands and legs are the most neglected parts when talking about skin care but in fact, they must be included in our routine. So, taking proper care of hands and feet will make them look healthy. Make sure to wash your hands and feet with lukewarm water as soon as you reach home along with the face. This will allow your skin to keep healthy and clean. Another monsoon skin care tip is applying sunscreen even if it’s cloudy outside. This will protect your skin from harmful UV rays.
A pampering session, which includes manicure and pedicure once a week is very much important during monsoon. Because nails are prone to discoloration and might get brittle and rough during this monsoon season. And also the major problems associated with hand and feet are dryness coupled with roughness and cracked heels of feet. To avoid all these problems, even the skin on hands and legs must be exfoliated regularly. At nights, use a good body lotion to moisturize them and massage evenly and leave it overnight.
You need not go to the costly saloons for the manicure and pedicure sessions. This can be done easily at home. First, soak your hands/feet in warm water for 15 minutes. The water should contain a few drops of a liquid hand wash or shampoo and some fresh lemon juice. Next, cleanse your nails and scrub your feet with a foot scraper. Complete this routine by applying a nail cream. Avoid pushing the cuticles, as toenail fungal infections are very common in monsoons and also keep the nails short.
