Face Masks For Different Skin Types

A facial mask is a kind of skin care product that needs to be applied on the face. It is considered as one of the easiest ways to get healthy and supple skin within a few minutes. As there a number of products available in the market, choosing one according to the skin type and the skin’s tolerance with the ingredients is a tough task. So, let’s simply DIY the masks with the ingredients suitable for the skin.

Oily Skin: In a mixing bowl, mix two tablespoons of gram flour, five drops of lemon juice, a half teaspoon of turmeric powder, 2-3 tablespoons of milk and water as needed. Apply to face for 20 minutes and wash off. It does deep cleansing and removes dead skin cells, giving a clear appearance. This mask will act as a natural exfoliating scrub for oily skin.

Dry Skin: Put 2 fully ripe bananas, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1/2 cup of yogurt in a blender. Blend these natural ingredients together till they form a consistent paste. Apply the paste on your face, leaving it there for about 20 minutes or till it dries out. Rinse your face with warm water.

Normal Skin: Take 1/3 cup instant oatmeal, 1/2 cup hot water, 1 tablespoon honey, 1-2 tablespoons curd in a bowl and mix them well and apply onto the face and neck. Wash it off after drying out completely. Oatmeal is great for soothing rough skin and acne breakouts. Paired with honey and yogurt, it’s a calming and revitalizing mask.
